A year has passed since the COP29 event was held in our country. COP29 went down in history as one of Azerbaijan's largest environmental and climate events on a global scale. While Azersun Holding participated as one of the three main sponsors of this event with the status of Sustainable Growth Partner, Media Balans undertook the communication, design, event, and digital management side of this mission

Project Management

The Media Balans team began preparations for the COP29 event held in November four months in advance. During this period, a total of 72 offline and online meetings were held with FABA, DMG Events, Sustainera Solutions, Qarabag FK, Azersun, and other partners.
Media Balans played a significant role in Azersun Holding's participation in COP29. All organizational matters, such as logistics, accreditations, promoter management, preparation of promo products, coordination, pavilion setup, guest visas and flights, transfers, and Baku tours, were carried out by Media Balans.
A total of 45 events were held within the framework of the event—1 in the Blue Zone, 4 in the Green Zone, and 40 in the Azersun Holding pavilion—and their management was ensured by Media Balans.

Idea / Creative

Designed and built from scratch by Media Balans, the 300 m² Azersun Holding pavilion became one of the most functional and high-traffic pavilions at COP29. The pavilion included a main foyer, a 40-person presentation room, a 10-person meeting room, a FABA innovation

Visitors at the pavilion could: • Test the beta version of the Eco19 application; • Try out interactive models of the EcoNar platform; • Watch 3 VR animations prepared with artificial intelligence.

In addition, the Media Balans design team prepared special ecological promo products for COP29

• Seeded pens and seed cards
• 200-gram Azercay tea packages
• Dreamland Herbal Garden natural essential oils

Each was designed to match both the pavilion aesthetics and the COP29 sustainability message. These promotional packages were distributed to 5,500 registered people in total.

In addition, 100 Azerçay VIP gifts designed by Media Balans were prepared for presentation to special guests

Production

The work done by the Media Balans production team was vital in highlighting Azersun Holding's participation in the COP29 event.

The team carried out video and photo filming and the preparation of reviews for a total of 45 Azersun Holding events organized in the Azersun Holding pavilion, Green Zone, and Blue Zone. Materials were promptly edited and montage work was completed within the same day to be submitted to Azersun Holding's PR team for public sharing.

In addition to the events, 23 podcasts on different topics were recorded at the COP29 Azersun Holding pavilion. Influential figures from large-scale companies operating worldwide participated as guests in these podcasts moderated by the Media Balans team, expressing their views on sustainable development.

WEB

The Media Balans WEB Development team provided operational support on necessary topics during the COP29 event.

First, a special page for COP29 was created on the official website of Azersun Holding. The dynamic calendar placed on the page was updated daily based on current events, allowing visitors to obtain detailed information about the time, topics, moderators, and speakers of events in the pavilion, Green Zone, and Blue Zone. A live broadcast link was also placed on the site for followers who could not attend the event.

Digital Marketing

The Media Balans digital marketing team supported Azersun Holding with a full staff both before and during the event.
A new digital marketing strategy was developed for COP29, and real-time sharing (stories, live broadcasts, posts, podcasts) from the pavilion was carried out throughout the event. A special targeting strategy for YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram was created, advertising campaigns were managed, and the budget was optimized.
